By Jeffery McNeil When I visit Atlantic City, I can’t help seeing what happened to the Democratic Party similar to what politicians have done in Atlantic City. Atlantic City was once a thriving tourist attraction with beautiful vacation homes, white sandy beaches, and boardwalk with lots of shops and cafes. The city of 39,000 residents is the home of the Miss America Pageant, Salt Water Taffy and the board game Monopoly. I’m not a sociologist, but, the comparisons of Democrats demise are similar to how corrupt politicians ruined Atlantic City. Both enterprises were run into the ground by incompetence, unspeakable arrogance, an uncanny ability to be in denial, even when the evidence and facts smacked them over the head, and refusal to change course even when it’s suicidal and destructive not to do so. Where Las Vegas was built on a desert, Atlantic City had the advantage of being built on the Jersey shore located between New York City and Philadelphia. While be
