Donald Trump has been in my living room since I was a child back in the late seventies.  In Atlantic City,  his name was plastered everywhere from parking lots to casinos. Although he was a household name during the late eighties, I wasn’t that impressed by him.  When you live in  New Jersey, you encounter many Donald Trump's people that try to overwhelm you with brashness, boldness, and bluster. While living In Atlantic City, I saw the good, bad and ugly with Donald Trump. I remember when he first started building his casinoes all the contentious legal battles he waged against homeowners that refused to settle or vacate their homes. With Penny Marshall's death, I feel a part of my youth has died also. While I didn’t know much about her life her character, Laverne Defazio will always be in my memory.  Her death brought back childhood memories for Laverne and Shirley was launched in 1976 when Gerald Ford was president.  My parents weren’t wealthy but were middle class. My father worked for General Motors which still had a plant in Linden New Jersey thirty miles outside of Manhattan. There are two sides to every story.  While immigration activists love to tell you sad stories of people coming here for a better life.  They ignore Kate Steinle,a young women murdered by an illegal immigrant deported several times.or  twenty year old Mollie Tibbets whose promising life was snuffed out by an illegal immigrant.  When you point out these as why we need  border security,  These same Left-wing activist try to minimize the drugs, gangs and criminals that have infiltrated many neighborhoods and communitie. You get tired of listening to people that never read a Law Book, mimic what they hear from Left-wing pundits about Emoluments clauses, campaign finance or Trump’s tax records as if their legal scholars. Sometimes I'm amazed  that after two years since Donald Trump been elected president many still behave as if they attended a funeral. For two years all I’ve hear is how Donald Trump is illegitimate and the election was stolen from Hillary. When they point out Hillary won the popular vote  they fail to recognize Trump won in an electoral rout, he won  2,626 counties to Hillary’s 487, she  lost states Democrats haven’t lost in thirty years such as Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan. as well as swing states such as Ohio Florida,Georgia and North Carolina. Like Trump they aren't my ideal Conservatives, but like Trump what I like about her is she doesn't let the liberals on the View bully and intimidate her.
